Our Vision

We will create websites and applications that are clear & concise; easy to use, simple to maintain, and that precisely meet our customers' needs. That means being friendly and approachable, and listening to discover what our customers' needs are.

While we hope for repeat business, we aim to give our customers the tools to perform routine maintenance of their own applications without special technical knowledge. Lizard Revolution retains customers through excellence, not by trapping them in an application that they must pay us to maintain.

About Us

Rebecca Chesin, Head Lizard

Rebecca has a background in corporate IT (Information Technology) as well as a variety of other positions which have given her competence in web design, writing and editing, Notes/Domino development, teaching, information searching, and analyzing requirements.

Recently completion of a Master's degree in Counseling and Psychotherapy is currently allowing her to enjoy a "portfolio career." Her experience as a therapist gives her a unique bridge between the worlds of science and art.

Besides her vocational qualifications, Rebecca is a seasoned world traveler, public speaker, newsletter editor, and Master Gardener for the University of Minnesota Extension Service. You will find that she listens carefully, makes good suggestions, and always provides her clients with extra value.

Andre Guirard, Technical Advisor

Andre is a longtime IT professional, author of many technical articles, presenter at technical conferences, and featured expert on searchdomino.com. Though mostly inactive, he is occasionally useful in answering the few technical questions that stump the main developer. In between stumpers he provides invaluable support during the gardening season as The Labor Pool, and The Giver of Foot Rubbies.

Why "Lizard"?

The exact origin is lost in the dim past. "Lizarding" is our idiosyncratic term for the way we often prefer to work: hanging out at the neighborhood coffee shop with our computers and working in a chosen community. For us it represents freedom, flexibility, and a new way of doing things. Plus, lizards are just cute so they make nice mascots. Our (virtual) lizards are named Zelda and Alfred. Zelda is the golden one.
